Pikeville Medical Center provides comprehensive allergy testing and treatment for both pediatric and adult patients through our specially trained clinical team.

From identifying potential allergens to developing an ongoing treatment plan, PMC offers several options based on your age, symptoms and individual needs.
Percutaneous Testing
Skin testing used to help identify reactions to potential allergens. Available for patients 3 and older.
Intradermal Testing
An additional type of allergy skin testing that may be used for patients age 6 and older when appropriate.
Allergy Drops
Sublingual allergy treatment may be recommended as part of an individualized treatment plan.
Allergy Injections
Allergy immunotherapy injections may be offered when indicated to help reduce sensitivity over time.
Symptom Evaluation
Your care team reviews your symptoms and testing results to help determine the next steps in treatment.
