Pikeville Medical Center hospitalists work diligently to diagnose and treat a wide variety of illnesses in the inpatient hospital setting. Once a patient is admitted to the hospital, a hospitalist takes over his or her care.
Our hospitalists are able to address patient concerns as they arise and work closely with hospital staff, as well as the patient and their loved ones, to tailor a treatment plan to the patient’s exact needs by recommending treatments, ordering tests and prescribing medications.
